Per the recent release of the MEMORANDUM ON IDENTIFICATION OF ESSENTIAL CRITICAL INFRASTRUCTURE WORKERS DURING COVID-19 RESPONSE by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security - Cybersecurity & Infrastructure Security Agency, Emerald Transformer has determined its designation within the supply chain of ESSENTIAL CRITICAL INFRASTRUCTURE in multiple areas such as ENERGY, HAZARDOUS MATERIALS, and CRITICAL MANUFACTURING. We are continuing operations in all facilities across the U.S. to serve the critical needs of you and the American public.
To Our Valued Customers – Because you provide Critical Infrastructure during this COVID-19 outbreak, Emerald is committed to assisting you in your efforts. We are fully operational and prepared to partner with you in meeting the changing demands of this crisis. Please call on us to help address your challenges.
To Our Valued Suppliers - The critical products and services you provide are essential to Emerald Transformer’s ability to maintain its role within the Critical Infrastructure supply chain. As such, you too fall within the scope of the Critical Infrastructure supply chain as defined by the DHS guidance. We ask that you also strive to maintain operations throughout the COVID-19 Pandemic. Please communicate with us regarding your needs.
Current Emerald Actions
TRAVEL: All Air Travel will be restricted for up to 30 days beginning March 16. Please avoid airports as much as possible. Please restrict hotel stays to an absolute must for up to 30 days beginning March 16.
OUTSIDE VISITORS: In consideration of efforts to stop contraction and spread of the virus: All visits by Outside Vendors, Sales and Marketing (with the exception of suppliers (i.e. deliveries by truck) coming into the facilities must be restricted beginning March 16. Additionally, all visits to Customers (with the exception of drivers for p/u and delivery purposes) must be restricted beginning March 16.
PLEASE ESPECIALLY MAKE NOTE OF THE FOLLOWING ITEMS:
• IF YOU BELIEVE YOU HAVE SYMPTOMS OF COVID-19 AS DESCRIBED BY THE CDC OR IF YOU HAVE BEEN IN CONTACT WITH SOMEONE WHO HAS BEEN AFFECTED BY THE VIRUS, PLEASE NOTIFY YOUR SUPERVISOR BY PHONE IMMEDIATELY. ABSENCES DIRECTLY RELATED TO THE VIRUS WILL BE EXCUSABLE.
• You may be respectfully asked to work remotely and/or separate yourself from the office and/or facility in an effort to minimize the contraction or spread of the virus if you, test positive, have recently traveled, been exposed or communicate to your manager you have a condition that puts you at a higher risk to contract the virus.
• Emerald Transformer insurance carriers have reminded us to promote the use of Teladoc's online application method instead of visiting medical facilities to the extent it does not danger your heaalth or put yourself at further risk.
