Emerald Transformer’s laboratories are capable of performing a variety of tests to determine the condition and status of your oil-filled electrical equipment.
Our labs cover the following:
- PCB in Oil per Gas Chromatography
- Moisture Content in Oil by KF
- Dielectric Breakdown Voltage
- PCB on Surface Wipe (using the Sonic Ruptor 400 Ultrasonic Homogenizer)
- Dissolved Gas Analysis and ASTM Screening and Soil Analysis
The typical turnaround time for laboratory analysis is 5 to 7 days, though we do offer 24-hour turnaround for rush projects.
