Jason Weiland is a finance professional with over 20 years’ experience driving strategic growth, operational efficiency, and financial performance. Known for his visionary oversight and hands-on leadership, he excels in cash flow optimization, M&A execution, and tax strategy. A trusted partner to executive teams, boards, and stakeholders, Jason brings analytical insight, strategic vision, and a strong commitment to developing high-performing teams—enabling organizations to scale, adapt, and thrive in dynamic business environments.

Jason joined Emerald in 2024 and currently serves as the Controller of Emerald Transformer, the nation’s largest transformer services company.

A graduate of the University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Business Administration focused in Finance, Accounting, and Economics, Jason has continually refined his expertise through ongoing education, executive training, and leadership development.

Jason is married with three children and recently celebrated his 26th wedding anniversary August 2024. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time outdoors—biking, golfing, skiing, or relaxing near the water.

I would like to thank Emerald for your assistance with the recent equipment recycling effort... We have disposed of three power transformers and thousands of gallons of oil...I also want to express my appreciation for your field service crew. The crew has been on property the last two weeks removing transformers from substations. The work was completed in a safe, timely and professional manner. Your crews have been on property for prior recycling efforts and I am always pleased with their efforts. I look forward to working with you to remove the remainder of the equipment by the end of the year.
