Safety Compliance Manager

Russell Romeo is an experienced Safety Management Professional with over a decade of workplace safety, risk mitigation, and regulatory compliance expertise. As a Certified Safety Professional (CSP) and Certified Instructional Trainer (CIT), he has successfully led impactful training programs, risk assessments, mitigation plans, and safety climate improvement programs that led to policies that enhanced compliance and operational efficiency. His expertise spans various industries, including aviation, manufacturing, and corporate safety leadership. Russell is committed to creating safer work environments by utilizing strategic leadership and innovative solutions to improve workplace safety and operational efficiency.

Russell holds a Master’s degree in Safety Science from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and two bachelor's degrees from the University of South Florida. He also participates in the Board of Certified Safety Professionals exam development and recertification groups for the CSP and CIT exams.

Russell enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter, traveling, golfing, fishing, and hiking. He also volunteers with the American Red Cross and is an avid baseball fan.

I would like to thank Emerald for your assistance with the recent equipment recycling effort... We have disposed of three power transformers and thousands of gallons of oil...I also want to express my appreciation for your field service crew. The crew has been on property the last two weeks removing transformers from substations. The work was completed in a safe, timely and professional manner. Your crews have been on property for prior recycling efforts and I am always pleased with their efforts. I look forward to working with you to remove the remainder of the equipment by the end of the year.
